This is the second half of the Biology course. Biology is the study of living organisms. This course examines fundamental components of biology including cellular biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, botany, vertebrates, invertebrates, and human physiology. Students explore how scientific knowledge is created and accumulated, and how it changes over time. Students apply the process of scientific inquiry to explore topics and perform virtual laboratory exercises. The role of scientists and the ethical implications of advancing technology are examined.
